The Lumière film festival is a worldwide event dedicated to classic cinema. Every October in Lyon, the birthplace of the Lumière Cinematograph, the world of cinema celebrates its vitality and heritage through a contemporary journey to the works of the past (restored films, retrospectives, guests, tributes, film-concerts...).

Festival Lumière Communication Team

Once again this year, with nearly 450 screenings on the program, the Festival Lumière radiates throughout the streets of Lyon, drawing a wide audience of enthusiasts and industry experts. Each film will be introduced by actresses, actors, filmmakers, film critics, or members of the festival team, making every screening a unique experience!

We are delighted to announce that, within this wonderful setting, 20 restorations carried out at our laboratories will be screened.
