Il Cinema Ritrovato
From June 24th to July 2nd, Cineteca di Bologna hosts the 31st edition of Il Cinema Ritrovato film festival, 9 days of screenings and meetings in five theatres, as well as open air evening screenings in Bologna’s wonderful main square, Piazza Maggiore, and in Cineteca’s courtyard called Piazzetta Pasolini.
A selection of the very best restorations realized over the year by public and private institutions will be presented both in 35mm and digital formats during the festival. Among these, several films recently restored at L’Immagine Ritrovata.

L'Immagine Ritrovata at the 73rd FIAF Congress
As supporter of FIAF, L’Immagine Ritrovata will attend the 73rd FIAF Congress, the most important annual congress of cinematheques and film archives worldwide which will take place in Los Angeles from April 28 to May 3, 2017. For clients and for those who are curious of our services a booth will be available in the dedicated area.

Film Preservation & Restoration School Latin America
From March 27 to April 1 2017, INCAA (Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales) and CINAIN (Cinemateca y Archivo de la Imagen Nacional), in collaboration with FIAF, Cineteca of Bologna and L’Immagine Ritrovata, have hosted the six-days Film Preservation & Restoration School to provide film preservation and restoration training to help safeguard Latin American cinematic heritage.
