From November 9 to 11, 2026, the international symposium The age of photographs. 50 years of image preservation will be held in Paris, offering an opportunity for the scientific community and professionals to come together and reflect on preservation strategies for photographic heritage. The event, which will take place partly at the Farabeuf Amphitheater (Campus des Cordeliers, Sorbonne Université) and partly at the Claude Lévi-Strauss Theater (Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac), is part of the Bicentenaire de la Photographie promoted by the Ministère de la Culture en France (2026-2027).
